| Kennel Review for Chattanooga, TN Friends, myself, and my husband went out of town last weekend. I went to Ashville, NC on Good Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I left Millie and our friends dog, a schaunzer, at Labby Lane Kennels for the time we were gone. They took excellent care of Millie and Nicki, the other dog. They took such good care that Both my friend and I don't even think our dogs missed us! The facilities are clean, they don't keep them in their kennels or cages very long during the day, they have 4 or 5 potty breaks, playtimes, have access to the outside from the individual kennels. They are located in Birchwood, and they are little out of the way, but well worth the effort and trip. My friend who has kept her Nicki in kennels before, said this is by far the best, cleaniest one she has experienced. Compared to other kennel owners, these people were very professional, experienced, and love dogs as much as we do! Nicki was more herself after the experience and did not seem stressed in any way, like she has been at other kennels. The big dogs and the small dogs are separated so that they don't hang out together and the small dogs don't get trampled on or bullied. They even groom there, so your dog can be bathed before you come and get them. They will feed your dog their own food that they provide (and the food is high quaility) or you can bring your own food and they will feed that to your dog. I highly recommend them. I have referal cards, so if you want I can get you 10% off your 1st stay there. They were recommended to me by Bone Appetit on Fraizer Avenue. Here is their website: http://www.labbylanekennel.com It is so nice to know that they are here in our town and that we have access to such a great facility! If I ever need them again, I would not hesitate to bring Millie back there. They don't get a lot of small dogs on a regular basis, so they get spoiled and are allowed to roam the front office with the owners and the assistant. They have free access to the outside fenced area from a side door. I think Millie and Nicki played most of the time they were there. I just can't say enough about how wonderful they were! |

| Isn't it great when you discover a place like this? We're lucky enough to have found a wonderful place for our dogs when we just can't take them along. It really makes the stress of leaving them much easier to bear. I know they're loved and well taken care of. Pamella |

| Exactly! I now no longer feel tied down and unable to go on vacation, because I feel comfortable in leaving Millie, because she will have such good care. |

| They are a great kennel. We recommend them a lot for large dogs where I work, Bone Appetit/Groomingdale's. We recommend ourselves for small dogs! lol The groomer and I both do petsitting out of our home for the tiny furbabies. The only problem though that we heard recently which concerned us was they had a dog that got loose twice. Could just be one sneaky dog! lol But it did put an alert for us. Have you heard anything about The Ark? The new facility on Dayton Blvd.? It looks very nice.

I have not heard about the Ark on Dayton Blvd. I need to check them out. Are they in Downtown Redbank? Also, if you do pet sitting, I would like to get your information for future reference, also. Gosh, I hope the dog that escaped 2 x was not Millie! Although she not really an escape artist at home with us. | |
